I would say the a6500 is a better all around camera than the A7II. AF is faster, it also has IBIS, lenses are smaller/cheaper, 4k and 120 fps (for those cool slow mo shots of your kid), silent shotting mode and equal ISO/DR. It is a very impressive package for such a small camera. The Alpha A9 III is the first full-frame camera on the market with a global shutter stacked sensor, a sort of holy grail in the photographic world. It allows for some wild specs, like 120fps
I have a sony a9 fullframe, the aps-c a6300 and a6400 with both the 70-300 and the 70-350. The 70-300 is sharper then the 70-350 and for BIF the autofocusspeed is the same. This was a dissapointment, because sony advertised the 70-350mm highly for the Xd-autofocusmotor. I also tested the 70-350 on the a9 fullframe in cropformat and I must say
Although both cameras share a similar BSI (backside illuminated) Exmor R CMOS sensor, the a7R III features a 42.4 megapixel sensor whereas the new a7R IV supports a massive 61 megapixels. Sony says that the newly developed Exmor R CMOS image sensor exhibits high sensitivity and low noise, despite the extremely high pixel count of 61.0MP.

The Sony A7ii and A7Rii can use EFS 100% of the time, even in continuous shooting mode. With EFS, there is NO shutter shock. The A7R has a shutter shock problem which has been widely documented. Sony cameras shift to 12 bit mode in a few operating modes, including silent (fully electronic) shutter mode. . 356 97 336 443 253 427 154 389
